why bother??

some people just are not worth being nice to... even if you work in customer service, you can be professional and honest without being nice... i've perfected it. all you have to do is summon up the "borg" in yourself... let your inner computer come out and you will get directly to the substance of the conversation without letting them waste your time. don't ever let someone waste your time.

i told a stranger what i did for a living...

they responded... "well" *sigh* "someone has to do it"
